Pathfinder Elementary School teacher Becky Wilk took a copy of the TimesIndicator with her to Okinawa, Japan, a trip she planned for two years. She stayed with her brother, sister-in-law and two nephews (Mikiya is not pictured). They visited the Churaumi Aquarium, Shuri-Jo Castle, Peace Memorial Park, many castle ruins and beautiful beaches. They spent the Fourth of July at Kadena Air Force Base. Wilk said that she enjoyed her vacation and hopes to return to Okinawa in a few years
