5/22/2008 Districts

The boys tied for fifth place at Districts yesterday, which qualifies them for regionals.  The top six teams advanced.
Although the Gaylord regional only had 10 teams participate, it was extremely competitive. 

The boys shot 340. 

Joe Ermatinger shot 75, which placed him in 3rd place individually.

The boys were looking like they were going to miss out on qualifying as a team a little over halfway through the round, but each of these boys buckled down and improved their scoring.  They learned a valuable lesson on persevering and making every shot count.  If we would have come in with a 341, we wouldn't have qualified for regionals.
